Civic tech and dialogue practitioners are taking notice of a new online news service called The Fulcrum, which describes itself as “focused exclusively on efforts to reverse the dysfunctions plaguing American democracy.”

The Fulcrum is nonprofit and nonpartisan and staffed by eight professional writers and communications specialists. Funders include: the Hewlett Foundation, the Bridge Alliance Education Fund, Arnold Ventures and the Lizzie and Jonathan M. Tisch Foundation.
