If we united and ratified exactly one constitutional amendment today, what should it be to yield the greatest positive return for our country 250 years from now?

Welcome to the Tournament of Ideas.

As we mark the 250th anniversary of the American experiment, we face a stark reality: hyper-polarization has paralyzed our ability as citizens to build common ground. But what if the problem isn’t our lack of shared values—what if it’s just that our tools for talking to each other are broken?

This is a live stress-test of a brand-new, early-stage deliberation platform designed by the nonprofit EnCiv. Instead of a chaotic comment section where the loudest voices win, this platform is structured as an interactive "Tournament of Ideas."

By entering, your perspective will pass through dynamic rounds where you will help systematically debate, evaluate, and co-create an unignorable consensus with fellow citizens from all political sides.

This is a genuine intellectual challenge. We aren't asking for generic complaints or quick policy fixes. We are asking you to put on your futurist hat, think about the long-term future of our country, and ground your philosophy into a concrete legal mechanism.

The Rules: The first round closes to new participants at midnight on Saturday, June 27. After that, registered participants will advance through the final rounds until a single, historic consensus idea wins the tournament.

Look past the immediate horizon of the next election cycle. Step into the tournament, and help show the country that Americans can still build a future together.
